What is the Wild Moon?

Wild Moon , we provide you with a one-of-a-kind wilderness experience: you will be able to spend a full moon (approximately 28 days) in nature without interruption. passage, you'll get a sense of how it feels and what it takes to live in a clan that is in sync with nature.
Cultural of the Wild Moon
There have been various
Wild Moons in the past, and we are now resurrecting Wild Moon after a long hiatus. Aside from traditional soft and hard skills, you will be able to learn about environmental and natural preservation. Furthermore, you gain a broader understanding of sustainable development by literally living it. We want to embark on a journey together that is based on respect and tolerance for all sentient beings.
To survive and thrive in nature, you must understand what the land has to offer, such as food, shelter, warmth, and clothing. It also necessitates your understanding of how to use, proceed with, or care for these earthly gifts. Firemaking by friction, butchering, hide tanning and making buckskin clothes are examples of what we offer to make them practical: shelter building, gathering wild edibles and fishing, primitive cooking, and various crafts such as basket- and bowl making.
Their job
We must also function socially as a circle to fully live with nature in hunter-gatherer cultures. Conflicts and struggles may arise, necessitating the use of our social skills, as well as the acquisition of new ones, to regain equilibrium. This would be ingrained in the culture of an indigenous clan and taught from childhood onwards, as it would be critical to the clan's well-being and survival. For those of us who grew up in a world where a functioning community was less of a priority, this is something we may need to practice when we find ourselves in a situation where we must rely on one another - both a challenge and a wonderful gift!
We'll use a variety of tools to get to a place where we can relate to one another and nature with dignity and respect. These are various types of communicational skills that guide us in peacefully expressing our thoughts and feelings, among other things. They are used in the workplace, at play, and in the creation of talking circles. The ability to deeply listen and acknowledge is just as important as how we speak. Another aspect is to get to the root of the feelings that arise and own them, as well as to do inner child work and arrive at a place of circle-consciousness and awareness.

We'll be honored to have children live with us in some
Wild Moons , and one focus will be on co-parenting and developing a children's culture. Children and families are especially welcome because they add to the experience's beauty. They also bring a variety of challenges, which will provide an excellent opportunity for all adults to grow and mature, as we will be one big family throughout the experience. Nonetheless, there will be Wild Moons without children and with a variety of themes.
Because we are providing a living experience rather than a workshop, how much and what you gain in terms of social and practical skills during the moon will be up to YOU and your motivation and passions.
Although Wild Moons appear to be a completely different world, they are designed in such a way that we can incorporate experiences, gifts, and insights into our daily lives.
Their wishes and the ending
As a guide, we serve as a link between the modern-civilized and the traditional ways of life. We are a diverse group of people from various countries who are passionate about wilderness and clan living, healing, and natural crafting life skills.
We have years of experience in these various fields and a strong desire to share our knowledge and methods for returning to peace and our true natural selves. Our plan was for each of us to spend at least one season (a year) in the wilderness, completing the Northwoods Wilderness Guide Program.
